IDEALPAK’s new biodegradable custom packaging with D2w

IDEALPAK’s team has created a line of eco-friendly packaging for your convenience! D2w is an oxo-biodegradable additive that can turn conventional plastic into a biodegradable packaging material with a slightly different molecular structure. Only one percent of d2w can make the difference and it works with both virgin and recycled plastic; in fact, adding d2w into a packaging product requires no change to the manufacturing process.

D2w technology can be applied to several different products, including: HDPE bottles and jars, LDPE bottles and jars, HDPE closures, LDPE closures, PP bottles and jars, as well as PP closures.

Biodegradable packaging with d2w comply with the international standard, ASTMD6954. Throughout their predetermined shelf life and service life, they will still maintain their original properties as environmentally friendly packaging solutions.

At the end of their service life, they can and should be recycled. However, even if they are not collected by recycling facilities, d2w will still initiate the oxo-biodegradation process and will not clutter the environment.

The joint effect of UV radiation, heat, mechanical stress, and oxygen will make our IDEALPAK’s new D2w custom packaging deteriorate and biodegrade (and eventually be consumed by microorganisms) in the open environment, avoiding any long-term harm.
